Dahua HAC-HDW1500TL 5MP HDCVI Eyeball Camera with Built-in Mic

The HAC-HDW1500TL records 5 MP video on a coaxial (HDCVI) system, a clear step up from 1080p when you need to read faces at a reception desk, till, or entrance. Its built-in microphone records sound alongside the picture, and on an HDCVI recorder the audio travels over the same coaxial cable as the video.

Smart IR covers up to 30 m at night and adjusts brightness so nearby faces are not washed out. The standard lens is 3.6 mm, with 2.8 mm available for a wider view. The eyeball housing is rated IP67, so it works under eaves and outdoors as well as indoors, and runs from a 12 V DC supply.

Its output switches between CVI, TVI, AHD, and analogue, so it can connect to most DVRs already installed.

Recording sound is subject to privacy expectations, so we help you decide where audio is appropriate, typically public-facing areas rather than offices or rest rooms.
