Dahua HAC-HFW1230SP 2MP Starlight HDCVI Bullet Camera

The HAC-HFW1230SP brings Dahua's Starlight low-light performance to an affordable coaxial (HDCVI) bullet camera. It keeps producing colour images down to 0.005 lux, which in practice means a compound lit by a single security light or street lamp still shows the colour of clothing and vehicles, where most cameras switch to black and white.

It records 1080p at up to 30 fps from a 1/2.8-inch 2 MP sensor. When the scene is completely dark, Smart IR takes over up to 30 m.

Lens options are 3.6 mm (standard), 2.8 mm for wider coverage, or 6 mm for a narrower, more detailed view of a gate or doorway. The housing is IP67-rated and runs from 12 V DC, and output switches between HD and SD for compatibility with older recorders.

We use it on perimeters, gates, and car parks that are dimly lit at night, recorded on a Dahua XVR.
