Dahua IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE 8MP 4K Eyeball IP Camera

The IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE records 4K (8 MP, 3840 × 2160). At that resolution one camera can cover a wide area, such as a car park, open-plan office, or hotel lobby, and still let you zoom into the recording to identify a face or read a plate. It records 4K at 15 fps, or 3 MP at 25/30 fps where smoother motion matters more.

A 1/2.5-inch STARVIS sensor handles low light well, 120 dB WDR balances bright windows and doorways, and infrared covers up to 50 m in darkness. A built-in microphone adds audio.

It supports ePoE, which extends network cabling far beyond the usual 100 m limit: up to 800 m at 10 Mbps, or 300 m at 100 Mbps. That helps on large compounds where a gatehouse camera is a long way from the recorder.

With a 2.8 mm lens, IP67 weatherproofing, and a microSD slot, it suits indoor and outdoor positions. 4K uses more storage, so we size the NVR drives accordingly.
