Dahua IPC-HFW2231R-ZS 2MP Motorised Bullet IP Camera

The IPC-HFW2231R-ZS is built for long outdoor views where a fixed lens would leave the important area too small in the picture: long driveways, perimeter fences, car parks, and gates at the end of a compound. Its motorised 2.7–13.5 mm lens zooms and focuses remotely, so each view can be framed precisely after the camera is up.

It records 1080p at 25/30 fps from a 1/2.8-inch sensor, with 120 dB WDR for strong backlight and H.265 compression. A large infrared array reaches up to 60 m at night.

A microSD slot (up to 128 GB) keeps a local backup of recordings. It takes power over the network cable (PoE) and is rated IP67 for outdoor use.

We choose the zoom for each position based on what must be identified at that distance, a face at a gate or a plate at an entrance, and record it on a Dahua NVR.
