Dahua NVR5464-16P-4KS2E 64-Channel 16-PoE 4K Pro NVR

The NVR5464-16P-4KS2E is a 1.5U, 64-channel Dahua Pro recorder for large installations such as estates, schools, hotels, and warehouses. It takes up to 64 IP cameras with 320 Mbps of incoming bandwidth, and 16 of them can be powered directly from its built-in PoE ports (up to 25.5 W per port, 150 W in total).

Ports 1–8 support ePoE and EoC, which extend PoE up to 800 m over network cable or run it over existing coaxial cable, useful for gatehouses and distant fences. Four SATA bays take drives of up to 10 TB each, and an eSATA port adds external storage.

It records with Smart H.265+ and handles cameras up to 24 MP. AI functions, some requiring AI cameras, include perimeter protection, face detection and recognition, SMD Plus, and ANPR, plus fisheye dewarping. Two HDMI and two VGA outputs drive separate monitors, the main HDMI at 4K.

We size the hard drives to how many days of recording you need to keep, and connect the recorder to a UPS or inverter so it keeps recording through power cuts. Remote viewing is through Dahua's DMSS app.
