Dahua IPC-HFW4231T-ASE 2MP WDR Mini Bullet IP Camera with ePoE

The IPC-HFW4231T-ASE is a Pro-range 1080p camera with two particular strengths: true wide dynamic range for difficult lighting, and ePoE for long cable runs.

WDR keeps faces and details visible when the camera faces a bright opening, such as a gate with the sun behind it, a glass shopfront, or vehicle headlights at night. Infrared lights the scene in full darkness.

ePoE extends the network cable far beyond the normal 100 m limit: up to 800 m at 10 Mbps, or 300 m at 100 Mbps. On large compounds, estates, and farms, that lets a camera at a distant gate or fence corner run back to the recorder on a single cable, without switches and power supplies along the way.

The compact mini-bullet housing mounts neatly on walls and gate pillars. We plan the cable routes for ePoE positions and commission the cameras on a Dahua NVR.
