The Mavic 3 Thermal is DJI's compact enterprise drone for inspection, security, and search work. It carries three cameras on one gimbal. A 640×512 thermal camera shows heat, which makes it useful for finding hot spots on solar panels, electrical panels, and transformers, and for spotting people or animals at night. A 48MP wide camera on a 1/2-inch sensor records the scene. A 12MP zoom camera reaches up to 56× hybrid zoom, so you can read details from a safe distance.
It flies for up to 45 minutes, weighs about 920g, and folds small enough to carry in a backpack for rapid deployment. It is flown with the DJI RC Pro Enterprise controller and the DJI Pilot 2 app. Optional accessories include an RTK module for centimetre-level positioning and a loudspeaker.
We supply it for security patrols of estates and perimeters, solar farm and substation inspections, and emergency response. Drone flying in Nigeria is regulated by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, so check registration and permit rules before flying, especially for commercial work.
