GDS01 Tuya Outdoor Waterproof Fingerprint Gate Rim Lock

The GDS01 is a smart rim lock built for outdoor gates and doors exposed to the weather: compound pedestrian gates, back doors, and metal security doors. Its IP66 rating means rain and dust are not a problem, and the aluminium alloy and stainless steel body suits steel, iron, and wooden doors 30–70 mm thick.

It opens by fingerprint (read in 0.25 seconds), PIN, RFID card, RF remote, the Tuya or Smart Life app, or a mechanical key. It stores 100 fingerprints and 150 PINs and cards. Built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connects it straight to your router with no separate gateway, giving you entry logs, tamper alerts, remote unlocking, and user management on your phone.

It runs on four AA batteries (not included). We check Wi-Fi reach at the gate, since gates are often far from the router, and add an access point where needed.
