Hikvision DS-2CD2T27G3E-L 2MP ColorVu Bullet Network Camera

The DS-2CD2T27G3E-L is a 2 MP ColorVu bullet camera, a cost-effective way to get colour night footage on gates, driveways, walkways, and compound perimeters. Hikvision's ColorVu design pairs an F1.0 aperture with a warm supplemental light, so the camera keeps recording in colour after dark rather than switching to black-and-white infrared.

In practice, colour at night shows the colour of a vehicle, a uniform, or a bag, which is often what identifies a person when footage is reviewed.

It records 1080p, which is ample for general outdoor coverage at moderate distances; for wide areas or longer distances, the 4 MP DS-2CD2T47G3E-L gives more detail. The bullet housing mounts on walls or poles, and the camera connects to a Hikvision NVR over a single PoE network cable.

The warm light is visible, which deters intruders but can bother neighbours, so we aim each camera to light only your property, and set recording retention on the NVR to suit how long you need footage kept.
