The DS-2CE56C2T-VFIR3 is a 720p Turbo HD turret camera with a manual 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens, adjusted at installation anywhere from an 80° wide view to a 27.2° narrow view. It suits positions where a fixed lens would be too wide or too tight, such as a corridor end, a gate across a yard, or a loading door.
It uses a 1.3 MP 1/3-inch sensor and outputs 720p at 25/30 fps over coaxial cable. Infrared reaches up to 40 m, and the housing is rated IP66 with an operating range of -40 °C to 60 °C. It runs from 12 V DC, drawing up to 5 W.
At 720p it is suited to general monitoring and to extending an existing 720p system; for identifying faces at entrances we recommend a 2 MP or higher camera.
We set the lens on site for each position and connect it to your Turbo HD DVR.
