Sonoff BASICR4 Wi-Fi Smart Switch

The Sonoff BASICR4 is a compact inline Wi-Fi smart switch that makes almost any light or small appliance controllable from the eWeLink app, by timer, or by voice. It is built on an ESP32 chip for faster, steadier response than earlier versions.

Its Magic Switch mode lets you keep using your existing wall rocker switch: even after the wall switch is turned off, the light can still be controlled from the app. This works with mainstream double-pole rocker switches and LED, energy-saving, or incandescent lamps from 3 to 100 W.

Compared with the BASICR2, it adds auxiliary overheating protection and support for the eWeLink-Remote wireless buttons.

It is a cost-effective way to automate outdoor lights, fans, and pumps. We install it in the circuit, in a suitable enclosure where needed, and set up the app.
