The ZKTeco PL10B is the ABS-bodied version of ZKTeco's DIY fingerprint lever lock. It replaces an ordinary knob or lever set on interior doors without wiring, and it costs less than the zinc-alloy ML10B. It uses an American-standard single latch with an adjustable 60 or 70mm backset.
A touch on the capacitive sensor wakes the reader and opens the door for enrolled fingerprints. It stores 90 users: 10 admins, 60 normal users, and 20 temporary users for guests or contractors. Data survives power loss. The handle, latch, and strike are reversible for left or right doors. The clutch-motor design with an idle handle stops the latch being forced by turning the handle. A normal-open mode keeps it unlocked during working hours.
Four AA batteries give about 6,000 openings, roughly a year, with a low-battery alarm. A 9V battery can power it from outside if they run flat, and a concealed key provides mechanical override. It fits doors 30–53mm thick.
