The HAC-HFW1200S-POC is designed to save cabling. Connected to a Dahua PoC recorder, it takes its power and sends its video over one coaxial cable, so there is no separate power supply or power cable to run to each camera. On a large compound with many cameras, that saves real time and material.
It records 1080p at up to 30 fps from a 1/2.7-inch 2 MP sensor. Smart IR covers up to 30 m at night, and the standard 3.6 mm lens (2.8 mm optional for a wider view) suits gates, walkways, and building sides.
It can also run from a 12 V DC supply where the recorder is not PoC-capable. The IP67 housing is built for outdoor use.
When upgrading from older analogue cameras, we check the condition and type of the existing coax first, since poor cable limits both image quality and how far PoC can deliver power.
