Dahua HAC-HDW1509TL-LED 5MP Full-Colour Starlight Eyeball Camera

The HAC-HDW1509TL-LED gives a coaxial (HDCVI) system 24-hour colour footage. It combines Dahua's Starlight low-light sensor with built-in warm LED light, so instead of switching to black-and-white infrared after dark, it keeps recording in colour.

Colour at night makes footage far more useful as evidence: you can tell a blue car from a grey one, and describe clothing accurately. At 5 MP, it also records more detail than a 1080p camera.

The compact eyeball design mounts on walls or ceilings at entrances, reception areas, shopfronts, and covered outdoor spaces, and connects to a Dahua XVR over standard coaxial cable.

Because the warm light is visible, it doubles as a deterrent, but it also lights up the area. We position these where extra light is welcome, such as doorways and porches, and away from neighbours' windows and bedrooms.
