Dahua IPC-HDBW2231R-ZS 2MP Motorised Vandal-Proof Dome IP Camera

The IPC-HDBW2231R-ZS is a vandal-resistant dome with a motorised 2.7–13.5 mm lens, so its view can be zoomed and focused remotely after installation. That makes it well suited to entrances, lobbies, and car parks where the ideal framing only becomes clear once the camera is in place.

It records 2 MP from a 1/2.8-inch sensor with Dahua's Starlight technology for colour in low light, WDR for bright doorways, and H.265+ to keep storage down. Infrared covers up to 30 m in darkness.

The housing is rated IK10 for impact, able to withstand the equivalent of a 5 kg weight dropped from 40 cm, and IP67 for weather, so it can be mounted within reach without inviting tampering.

We use it at building entrances and gatehouses, where a dome's discreet look and the ability to zoom in on faces both matter, and record it on a Dahua NVR.
