Deye SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU-SM2 8kW Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter (48 V)

The SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU-SM2 is an 8 kW single-phase hybrid inverter from Deye, a common size for homes, offices, and shops running air conditioners and pumps on solar and battery. It works with 48 V lead-acid or lithium batteries at up to 190 A charge and discharge.

Two MPPT trackers accept up to 10,400 W of solar, with a 500 V maximum input and a 150–425 V tracking range, so panels on two roof faces can work independently. It can store energy from a diesel generator, retrofit an existing grid-tie system through AC coupling, and use six time periods to charge and discharge the battery around tariffs and outages.

Up to 16 units can run in parallel for larger sites, and peak efficiency reaches 97.6%. A colour touch LCD shows system status, and the IP65 housing allows outdoor or garage installation.
