Hikvision DS-2CD1023G0-I 2MP EXIR PoE Bullet Network Camera

The DS-2CD1023G0-I is an entry-level 2 MP bullet camera from Hikvision's value range, a common choice for homes, shops, estates, and schools that need reliable IP coverage across many positions on a set budget.

It records 1080p at up to 30 fps. EXIR 2.0 infrared lights the scene up to 30 m at night with even coverage across the frame. H.265+ compression cuts recording storage compared with H.264, so the same NVR hard drive keeps more days of footage.

The housing is rated IP67 for rain and dust, and the camera takes power over the network cable (PoE, 802.3af), so a PoE switch or NVR powers it without a separate adapter at the camera position.

It covers the essentials of recording, playback, and remote viewing without the advanced analytics of higher Hikvision series. For gates and driveways where false alarms from trees and headlights are a concern, we recommend an AcuSense model instead. We plan positions to avoid blind spots and set up phone viewing.
