Hikvision DS-2CD1021-I 2MP EXIR Bullet Network Camera, 4 mm

The DS-2CD1021-I is an entry-level 2 MP outdoor bullet camera from Hikvision's value range, a dependable way to add IP cameras to gates, driveways, walls, and car parks on a budget. This listing is the 4 mm lens version, with an 81° view that suits driveways and gates; the 2.8 mm version (105°) covers a wider area closer to the camera.

It records 1080p from a 1/2.7-inch sensor, with digital WDR for scenes with bright and dark areas. EXIR 2.0 infrared lights the scene up to 30 m at night.

The housing is rated IP67 for rain and dust. It runs on 12 V DC or PoE, drawing a maximum of 6.5 W, so a standard PoE switch or NVR port powers it over the same cable as the video.

It uses H.264 and H.264+ compression rather than H.265, so each camera needs a little more storage than newer models. We size the NVR hard drive for the number of days of recording you want to keep.
