Maxi E10000KWH 12.5kVA / 10kW Petrol Generator

The Maxi E10000KWH is a 12.5 kVA (10 kW) petrol generator for households and small businesses that need substantial backup power. It starts with a key and comes on wheels with handles, so it can be moved into position rather than lifted.

10 kW is enough to run a typical home's lighting, refrigeration, electronics, and pumps, and some air conditioning, provided the loads are planned so that motors do not all start at once.

How it is connected matters as much as its size. We recommend a changeover switch so the generator can never feed back into the grid supply, and correct earthing at the generator. Where a solar and battery system is also installed, the generator can serve as a backup charging source for the inverter, which means it runs less often.

Place it outdoors, well away from windows, doors, and air vents: exhaust fumes are dangerous in enclosed spaces. We can also size and install a solar and inverter system to reduce how often you need to run it.
