The GPSMAP 64x is a button-operated handheld GPS for surveyors, engineers, geologists, and field teams working away from roads and mobile signal. Buttons work reliably with gloves or wet hands, where a touchscreen can struggle.
Its quad-helix antenna and GPS plus GLONASS reception hold a fix under tree cover and in valleys. The 2.6-inch colour screen is readable in bright sunlight. It comes preloaded with Garmin TopoActive maps and has 8GB of internal memory plus a microSD slot for extra maps.
It runs on two AA batteries for up to 16 hours, so spares are easy to carry, and it is rated IPX7 against water. You can mark waypoints, record tracks, and navigate back to your start point. We can load site coordinates and train field staff before deployment.
