Hikvision DS-7216HGHI-K1 16-Channel Turbo HD 1080p Lite DVR

The DS-7216HGHI-K1 is a 16-channel Hikvision Turbo HD recorder for 1080p and 720p analogue cameras. Each BNC input accepts HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, or CVBS cameras. It also takes 2 extra IP cameras of up to 5MP, with up to 18 IP channels in total.

Its most useful feature is Motion Detection 2.0. It uses deep learning to classify movement as a person or a vehicle on every analogue channel, which cuts false alarms from leaves and headlights. You can also search recordings by that type of event.

All channels record at up to 1080p lite at 15fps, which Hikvision says gives an image close to full 1080p. H.265 Pro+ reduces storage needs. One SATA bay takes a drive of up to 10TB. Audio can travel over the coax from compatible cameras. It has HDMI and VGA outputs at 1080p, a 100Mbps network port with Hik-Connect for remote viewing, and a 12V supply. It draws 10W or less without a drive.

Note: the listing previously called this a 4K recorder. It records 1080p lite and outputs at 1080p.
