The DS-7216HQHI-K2 is a 16-channel Hikvision DVR for coaxial CCTV systems in homes, shops, schools, and offices. Its BNC inputs accept HD-TVI and AHD cameras up to 4 MP, HD-CVI at 1080p, and standard analogue, so it can take over from an old DVR and keep the existing cameras and coax cable.
It also connects 8 IP cameras, or up to 24 with analogue channels switched to IP, at up to 6 MP, with 96 Mbps of incoming bandwidth. All channels record at up to 4 MP lite, and H.265 Pro+ reduces storage needs. HD-TVI runs up to 800 m at 1080p over coax.
Two SATA bays take drives of up to 10 TB each. HDMI output reaches 4K, and 4 channels support line crossing and intrusion detection, with sudden scene change detection on one.
We size the hard drives to how many days of recording you need to keep, and connect the recorder to a UPS or inverter so it keeps recording through power cuts. Remote viewing is through Hik-Connect.
