Hikvision DS-7232HQHI-K2 32-Channel Turbo HD 4MP Lite DVR

The DS-7232HQHI-K2 is a 32-channel Hikvision DVR for large coaxial CCTV systems, including upgrades where existing coax cable stays in place. Its 32 BNC inputs accept HD-TVI (up to 4 MP), AHD (4 MP), HD-CVI (1080p), and standard analogue cameras, so mixed brands and old cameras can share one recorder.

It also takes 2 IP cameras, or up to 34 with analogue channels switched to IP (40 in enhanced IP mode), at up to 6 MP. All channels record at up to 4 MP lite, and H.265 Pro+ reduces storage use. HD-TVI signals run up to 800 m at 1080p over coax.

Two SATA bays take drives of up to 10 TB each. The HDMI output reaches 4K and the VGA output 1080p. Line crossing and intrusion detection run on 2 channels (4 in enhanced VCA mode), plus sudden scene change detection.

It runs from 12 V DC. We size the hard drives to how many days of recording you need to keep, and connect the recorder to a UPS or inverter so it keeps recording through power cuts.
