Hikvision DS-7616NI-Q2/16P 16-Channel 16-PoE 4K NVR

The DS-7616NI-Q2/16P is a 16-channel Hikvision plug-and-play recorder: each IP camera plugs into one of its 16 PoE ports and is powered and recognised automatically, with no separate switch. It suits homes, shops, schools, and offices.

It records cameras up to 8 MP, with 160 Mbps of incoming bandwidth, and decodes one 8 MP or five 1080p channels at once for live view. HDMI (up to 4K) and VGA outputs run simultaneously. PoE supports 802.3af/at cameras, up to 150 W in total.

Two SATA bays take drives of up to 8 TB each. H.265+ compression cuts storage use substantially compared with H.264, and the recorder works with camera-side smart features such as line crossing, intrusion, heat map, ANPR, and people counting. A gigabit uplink connects it to your network for Hik-Connect remote viewing.

It runs from 100–240 V AC. We size the hard drives to how many days of recording you need to keep, and connect the recorder to a UPS or inverter so it keeps recording through power cuts.
