The DS-1005KI is a USB control keyboard with a joystick, for security control rooms and gatehouses where operators drive PTZ cameras all day. Moving a joystick is faster and more precise than clicking on-screen arrows, especially when following a person or vehicle across a site.
The joystick moves in three axes: push to pan and tilt, twist to zoom. Up to 15 programmable buttons can be set for common actions such as switching windows, capturing pictures, starting recording, or calling presets.
It connects over USB 2.0 and draws its 5 V power from the same cable, so there is no separate adapter. It works directly with Hikvision's iVMS client and platform software, DVRs, and PC-DVRs, and because it uses the standard USB HID protocol, it can also be used with some third-party software. It supports Windows XP through Windows 10.
We connect it to your control room PC or recorder and map the buttons to the presets and views your operators use most.
