Hikvision DS-7108NI-K1/W/M 8-Channel Wi-Fi NVR

The DS-7108NI-K1/W/M is an 8-channel Hikvision recorder with Wi-Fi built in, for homes, shops, and small offices where running network cable to every camera isn't practical. Hikvision Wi-Fi cameras connect directly to the recorder's own wireless network, so each camera only needs a local power point.

Two external antennas in a 2 × 2 MIMO design give a stronger, more stable wireless link than a single-antenna unit, and up to 16 devices such as phones and laptops can connect to it over Wi-Fi.

It records cameras up to 4 MP, with 50 Mbps of incoming bandwidth, and decodes four 1080p channels at once. HDMI and VGA outputs run simultaneously at up to 1080p. One SATA bay takes a drive of up to 6 TB, and H.265+ reduces storage use.

Wireless range falls through walls, so we test signal at each camera position and cable any camera that's too far. It runs from a 12 V adapter. We size the hard drives to how many days of recording you need to keep, and connect the recorder to a UPS or inverter so it keeps recording through power cuts.
