Hikvision DS-2CD2021G1-IDW1 2MP Wi-Fi Bullet Camera with Built-in Mic

The DS-2CD2021G1-IDW1 is a 2 MP outdoor bullet camera with built-in Wi-Fi, for homes, shops, and small sites where running network cable to each camera is difficult. It joins your wireless router or a Hikvision Wi-Fi NVR, so each camera position needs only a power supply.

It records 1080p video, with infrared up to 30 m for night coverage of a gate, driveway, or yard. A built-in microphone records sound with the picture, and a microSD slot lets the camera record on its own, without a recorder, or keep recording through a Wi-Fi dropout.

H.265+ compression reduces the storage and bandwidth each camera uses, which matters on a shared wireless network. The housing is rated IP66 for rain and dust.

Wi-Fi range drops through concrete walls and over distance, so we test the signal at each position before installing, and add an access point or switch to a cabled camera where needed. Audio recording raises privacy questions, and we help you decide where it's appropriate.
