Hikvision DS-2CD2043G0-I 4MP IR Bullet Network Camera

The DS-2CD2043G0-I is a 4 MP outdoor bullet camera for everyday perimeter coverage: gates, driveways, compound walls, car parks, and building corners. At 2688 × 1520 it gives noticeably more detail than 1080p, which helps when you need to identify people further from the camera.

It uses a 1/3-inch sensor with colour down to 0.01 lux at F1.2, 120 dB WDR for backlit scenes, and infrared up to 30 m in full darkness. Fixed lens options are 2.8, 4, 6, and 8 mm, from a wide yard view to a narrower view down a driveway.

Line crossing, intrusion, and face detection are built in. A microSD slot provides local backup, and H.265+ compression cuts recording storage compared with H.264.

The housing is rated IP67 for rain and dust, and the camera takes power over PoE. We pick the lens for each position, mount the camera out of easy reach, and connect it to a Hikvision NVR with phone viewing.
