Hikvision DS-2CD2332-I 3MP EXIR Turret Network Camera, 12 mm Lens

The DS-2CD2332-I is a 3 MP turret camera fitted with a 12 mm lens: a narrow, long-reach view for a single target some distance away rather than a whole room. Examples include a gate seen from the house, a till from across a shop, or a loading bay door from the far end of a yard. Choose a wider lens if you need broad coverage close to the camera.

It records 3 MP (2048 × 1536) from a 1/3-inch sensor, with digital WDR to balance bright and dark areas. Hikvision's EXIR infrared lights the scene up to 30 m at night. Video is compressed in H.264 or MJPEG, which older NVRs and third-party recorders handle easily.

The turret housing is rated IP66 for outdoor mounting and takes power over PoE, so one network cable carries power and video.

This is an older Hikvision generation without H.265, so recordings use more storage than newer models. We confirm the viewing distance on site before recommending the 12 mm version.
