The DS-2CD2T85G1-I8 is an 8 MP (4K, 3840 × 2160) bullet camera for large outdoor areas where you need to zoom into the recording afterwards: car parks, factory yards, long perimeter walls, and loading bays. At 4K, one camera can cover ground that would otherwise need two or three 2 MP cameras and still show enough detail to identify people and vehicles in playback.
It records at up to 20 fps with DarkFighter low-light technology, and its long-range 'I8' infrared reaches up to 80 m. 120 dB WDR handles gates and doorways facing bright sunlight. Lens options are 2.8, 4, and 6 mm.
Built-in analytics include line crossing, intrusion, unattended baggage, object removal, scene change, and face detection. A microSD slot (up to 128 GB) keeps recording locally if the network drops.
It is IP67-rated, runs on 12 V DC or PoE, and uses H.265+ to keep 4K storage manageable. Hikvision has since replaced this model with the DS-2CD2T86G2-4I; if stock runs out, we will quote the replacement.
