The DS-2DE4425IW-DE is a 4-inch PTZ speed dome for watching wide outdoor areas from one point: estate gates and roads, factory yards, car parks, and hotel grounds. Its 25x optical zoom (4.8–120 mm) lets an operator follow a person or vehicle across the site and zoom in for detail, with a further 16x digital zoom.
It records 4 MP (2560 × 1440) at up to 30 fps from a 1/2.8-inch sensor. Infrared reaches up to 100 m at night, and 120 dB WDR, defog, and electronic image stabilisation help in backlit, hazy, or windy positions. H.265+ compression keeps recording storage down.
It pans a full 360° continuously, tilts from -15° to 90° with auto-flip, and returns to its position after a power cut. Power is 12 V DC or PoE+ (802.3at).
We mount it on a pole or wall bracket with a clear line of sight, then programme presets and patrol routes so it keeps covering the site when no one is at the controls.
