Its 25x optical zoom (4.8–120 mm) brings a distant gate or vehicle close enough to see detail, and 16x digital zoom adds further reach.

It records 1080p from a 1/2.8-inch sensor and uses Hikvision's DarkFighter low-light technology, so the picture holds up under street lighting. In full darkness, infrared reaches up to 100 m. H.265+ compression keeps storage down on long retention periods.
