Hikvision DS-7604NI-Q1/4P 4-Channel 4-PoE 4K NVR

The DS-7604NI-Q1/4P is a compact 4-channel Hikvision recorder for homes, small shops, and offices that need up to four IP cameras. Each camera plugs into one of its four PoE ports and is powered and set up automatically.

It records cameras up to 8 MP, with 40 Mbps of incoming bandwidth, and decodes one 8 MP or five 1080p channels for live view. HDMI output reaches 4K, with a simultaneous VGA output, so it can drive a modern TV or an older monitor. PoE supports 802.3af/at cameras, up to 50 W in total.

One SATA bay takes a drive of up to 8 TB. H.265+ compression reduces storage use, and camera-side smart features such as line crossing and intrusion detection are supported. It has an audio output and two-way audio input.

It runs from a 48 V DC adapter. We size the hard drives to how many days of recording you need to keep, and connect the recorder to a UPS or inverter so it keeps recording through power cuts. Remote viewing is through Hik-Connect.
