The Thuraya XT-PRO is a rugged satellite phone for field teams who need to stay reachable where there is no mobile signal. That includes oil and gas sites, pipelines, farms, mines, and humanitarian operations in remote areas.
It has long battery life for a satellite phone: up to 9 hours of talk time and 100 hours on standby. It also offers three positioning systems, GPS, BeiDou, and GLONASS, so it can report accurate coordinates. A dedicated SOS button calls or messages a preset contact in an emergency. The casing is rated IP55 against dust and water jets and IK05 against knocks.
Thuraya's network covers Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, including all of Nigeria, but not the Americas. Calls need a Thuraya SIM with airtime, and we can set up a prepaid or postpaid line. Like all satellite phones, it needs a clear view of the sky, so use it outdoors.
