ZKTeco BL-852T50S 2MP 10x Motorised Face Detection Bullet Camera

The BL-852T50S is a 2 MP bullet camera from ZKTeco's BioPro series for long views: estate gates seen from a guardhouse, perimeter fences, car park entrances, and yards. Its motorised 5.15–47.38 mm lens gives 10x optical zoom, from a 60° view down to 8°, so a distant gate or doorway can fill the frame. Smart IR reaches up to 100 m at night.

It records 1080p from a 1/2.8-inch Sony STARVIS sensor. Built-in face detection can pick out up to 30 faces per frame and capture them for review, and line crossing, intrusion, counting, and abandoned or missing object detection are also on board.

It uses H.265 compression, and the metal housing is rated IP67 with 6 kV lightning protection, which matters on exposed poles during rainy-season storms. It runs on 12 V DC or PoE (802.3af) and draws under 3 W.

This model detects faces but does not match them against a database; for recognition against a list, see the BL-852Q38A. We set the zoom and detection areas on site.
